Once you open the box, the mattress will quickly unroll. Open up the inside bag to allow air to enter, and for the mattress to expand. But it would take 24 to 36 hours for the mattress to fully expand. So until then, you will have to make do with a sagging bed.
It’s also massive with its weight nearing 300 pounds. Of course, you won’t be moving it around the house. But you’ll have some troubles lifting up its side to put its covers.
There’s also that distinctive smell which you will have to deal with for a few days after the mattress was delivered to your place. Open the windows of your bedroom the first night you use this mattress. The odor should be gone on the second night although there are consumer reviews suggesting that the odor will still smell a week after.
There are also reports that Dynasty Mattress won’t necessarily take a mattress back from a disgruntled customer. Some customer reviews indicate that the company will give a lot of reasons why they won’t take back a Grand Atlantis memory foam mattress and give the unimpressed buyer a refund.
