How To Get Ready In The Morning In 10 Minutes And Still Look Your Best

The Key To Getting Ready In 10 Minutes Or Less

Most of your current morning routine should be accomplished at night, so that you can get up and out the door in less than 10 minutes in the morning. Here’s what you should do before going to bed:

  • Shower and shave
  • Use deodorant and aftershave
  • Lay out clothes for the next day
  • Sleep in the clothes you plan to wear tomorrow (t-shirt and socks, at least)
  • Pack bags and/or briefcase and leave by front door
  • Pack lunch and have a quick breakfast snack ready to go

Tips For Men

For most men the biggest time suck in the morning is probably just getting out of bed in the first place and shaking off the grogginess. Once that is accomplished, there really isn’t much to do except use the toilet and throw on some clothes – assuming that you’ve already done all your prep the night before.

Styling your hair does not have to be a big deal. If your shower has a hose attachment, then just lean into the shower and quickly hose your head. Then vigorously towel dry your hair and hands and run a bit of hair gel or putty through your hair. You don’t even need to use a comb or brush. This can all be done in about 60 seconds.

Grab your bottle of iced coffee and a breakfast bar or premade sandwich from the fridge on your way out the door.

Tips For Women

For the girls, the biggest challenge in the morning will be to apply makeup quickly. The key is to wash your face thoroughly and then apply a quick layer of BB cream as foundation, then lips and cheeks in seconds, followed by eyebrow gel, powder and mascara. It’s super-fast. Tips For Students

Hey students! Getting ready for school in just 10 minutes is also possible! You can shower, shave, pack up your backpack, lay out your clothes, get breakfast and lunch ready and even sleep in your clean school clothes after showering at bedtime – assuming you just wear a t-shirt to school.
